I'm about to head home to the Gold Coast, but wanted to do a bit of an update video about how my skin is going on Accutane. I can't believe it's been 4 months already!! Every day, it gets easier. I don't really tend to go out of the house without makeup on, but I have done it! That's a huge step in the right direction. I can't wait to see how my skin is by the end of my treatment. I also wanted to touch on a couple of things that have affected me this month regarding skincare and sun care. You must know how to care for your skin while you're on Accutane. Your skin will become dry, sensitive, and sun sensitive. Wearing moisturiser and sun screen every day is essential! Especially if you are going outside, don't forget to apply a high SPF sunscreen. You also can't forget to take care of your diet, health or body while on Accutane. I've learned what my acne triggers are when it comes to food - oils, sugar and processed food. My body is breaking out this week due to eating these things! Yikes! I need to get back on track and care for my body more, so I stop getting acne on my chest, shoulders and back. Bacteria can cause a lot of problems too, so I've learned I can't be slack. I need to keep treating my body like I treat my face.
